Constantine Kornyakt was a one of Lviv’s richest and most influential man. He was a founder of the Kornyakt’s Tower, Uspens’ka Church and Three Saint’s Chapel.
Constantine Kornyakt traded Greece Muscat vine and was a money-lender. In L’viv he made a career in social politics.
Kornyakt was a personal secretary of Zigmunt II August - the King of Poland, and he granted him a title and a coat of arms. Soon be became Head of Customs of the Rus’ Lands.
By the end of the life he had lots of property in L’viv and Peremyshl’. In L’viv he owned three buildings including the Italian patio.
Constantine Kornyakt was married to Anna Didushitska; she was from noble Polish family by birth. They had a daughter and three sons.
Constantine Kornyakt died in 1603; he was 83 years old and had been buried in crypt of Uspens’ka church.
